FED: Australia attracts adventurous Yanks - almost

BRISBANE, Feb 20 AAP - Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin and the Survivor series have helpedpropel Australia into an adventure holiday destination for Americans.
Australia jumped from being the United States' 21st ranked adventure destination in2001 to seventh last year as determined by vacation purchases at the travel website iExplore.com.
The ranking puts Australia only behind China, Peru, the Galapagos Islands, Alaska,Costa Rica and Egypt in the adventure stakes.
